Free PowerPoint Templates and Backgrounds

If you are looking for free PowerPoint templates, it is often worth to ask the question..."Why would anyone use their time and energy to create free PowerPoint templates?"

It's a question I've often asked myself, most specially given the large number of sites which promote "free powerpoint templates" and yet provide only poor clipart and unusable PowerPoint slide designs.

So why would a site provide high quality free PowerPoint templates? What would be the point?

The answer sadly is often very simple. Many online companies produce "free" online PowerPoint templates to use them as a draw or "pull" mechanism to draw you into their site. The sad fact is however, that the overwhelming majority of these free powerpoint templates are not created by professional artists and designers, and so to quote an old addage, "You really do get what you pay for!"

It's actually fairly easy to understand that a professional design company or designer would naturally not use great time, efforts and energies creating high end, and impressive free PowerPoint templates. If they did that how would they get paid for their work? If a plumber came round to your house to fix your sink for free how would he ever get paid?

Of course the free powerpoint template sites will argue that they get paid or are supported by Google Ads and the Google AdSense program. But really....if the plumber got paid for having a Dewalt Tools logo on his toolbox could he really survive?

The truth is in fact if you are creating a presentation where you really do need a high quality or professionally designed template, that you are not going to find it for "free". Like all quality products we must pay. But unlike a great deal of other high end products, PowerPoint templates, and more importantly professionl power point templates, and PowerPoint design templates, are not expensive. In fact you would probably be surprised to find just how cost effective a professional PowerPoint template costs.

PowerPoint templates from 123PPT.com for example are created by award winning designers. Now I know that there are so many site out there claiming that their products are created by "award winning designer" but 123PPT.com's templates actually are.

They don't use freelancers, or simply resell third party templates which an overwhelming majority of "leading" PowerPoint sites do in fact do. Instead 123PPT.com designers create unique professional PowerPoint templates for only $14.95!

Now I don't know about you. But time seems to be the most precious thing. Especially when I can use hours and hours searching Google and sites for "free powerpoint templates", and spend hours and hours browsing pages of hopeless, useless, and clipart PowerPoint templates.

actually sat down some days ago and calculated that I used 4 hours searching for a free baby powerpoint template. After 4 hours I still couldn't find the baby template I was looking for so I went to 123PPT.com, and purchased one in under 3 minutes. So I began to think....is my time really only worth £3.75 per hour? I mean I spent 4 hours trying to find something for free that in the end to get a quality PowertPoint template design I have to pay only $14.95 for. I could have used my 4 hours actually writing content instead. Or spending time with my kids and family.

It seems strange how in our search for free and easy, we often end up, wasting so much time and energy, and what are we doing in those wasted hours. Yepp...you guessed it, all those "free powerpoint template" websites that have been optimized for search engines to annoy the hell out of us and come top of the lists earn a few cents here and there as we click in searching for a free template. So in effect, we fund these guys and keep them in business. Wouldn't it be better if we could just go to Goolge, Yahoo, or MSN Search, and type Free PowerPoint Templates, and get back a result list of quailty templates that says on this site powerpoint templates cost x amount of dollars etc., so we knew right away if the templates were professionally designed or not.

Perhaps like me now you've stopped using free in your web search? And instead find an online creative company such as 123PPT.com and bookmark them and use them everytime you need a presentation.

If there is one thing I have learned about Internet it's that there are so many fraudsters out there trying to earn money from GoogleAds etc., and they do it mainly by offering "free this" and "free that". When in truth, as I say, in the end the only way to really get high end professionally designed royalty free PowerPoint templates is to pay for them, and in all honesty, is the price organizations such as 123PPT.com ask for their work really worth finding alternatives for? I don't know about you, but I know my time is worth more than $3.75, and whenever I need a free powerpoint template I know that 123PPT.com has all the PowerPoint templates I need for a price I can easily afford.
